About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate, hands-on Taproom and Kitchen Manager to lead the launch of our exciting new dual-concept restaurant featuring Kinkaider Brewing Company and Bierhaus Maisschaler.


As an ambassador of hospitality, you will build a high-performing team and create an inviting environment for guests, staff, and vendors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest.

  • Hire, train, coach, and hold staff accountable to service and kitchen standards.

  • Manage inventory of beer, spirits, food, supplies, and merchandise.

  • Oversee daily cash handling, POS transactions, deposits, and petty cash.

  • Ensure daily cleanliness and upkeep of the taproom, kitchen, bar, patios, and cooler.

  • Enforce compliance with all food safety, alcohol service, and health regulations.

  • Monitor quality of beer and cocktail service, including proper pouring and presentation.

  • Develop weekly schedules to optimize labor costs and service levels.

  • Drive performance based on key metrics: sales, margins, cost control, labor efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

  • Maintain and update beer, cocktail, and food menus in collaboration with leadership.

  • Submit weekly operational reports to the corporate team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a restaurant manager, taproom manager, or similar leadership role.

  • Strong customer service orientation with a passion for hospitality.

  • Solid background in managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.

  • Extensive knowledge of beer, spirits, and food.

  • Strong leadership and motivational skills — leads by example.

  • Acute financial management skills focused on labor, cost of goods, and profitability.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, especially during the launch phase.

Additional Information:

• Initial training will take place at Kinkaider Brewing Co. – Broken Bow, NE (65 miles from Kearney).
• Anticipated opening of the Kearney location is September 1, 2025.
• Candidates must be available to begin training 30–60 days prior to opening.
